Kitcheck creates groundbreaking Medication Intelligence solutions that provide item-level visibility, workflow simplicity and actionable analytics. From the manufacturer to the hospital pharmacy to the patient, Kitcheck is here to help gain full visibility into medication management through a range of industry-leading automation tools.

The Challenge

Ahead of launching a new product, Kitcheck was in search of a website that would:

  • Reflect their maturity progress.

  • Capturing more qualifying organic leads.

  • Guide medical professionals to improve the efficiency of medication storage and replenishment.

PROCESS

After user and stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis, and market research we synthesized our findings into data-backed user journeys. These gave us a better understanding of how pharmacists and health system employees alike interacted with Kitcheck website, exposing some problems with the current site’s layout and content offerings. Focusing our work around user behavior, we reorganized the information architecture (IA), creating easily-discoverable groups of pages relevant to each primary audience.
With the IA set, we moved to wire framing, assembling a number of pages based on flexible content modules that can be added, removed, and rearranged as needed. With the wire frames set, we moved onto graphical designing and developing the website.

RESULTS

The resulting website portrays Kit Check as an approachable, solutions-oriented provider and the more concise IA significantly improved the user experience.

The resulting increase in lead submissions and demo requests have enabled Kit Check to invest further in its digital presence.

The redesign was recognized internally and externally as a great step forward for the brand and won a Platinum dotCOMM award and a Gold Hermes in its relevant categories.

Kitcheck - continues 😊

The Challenge

The workflow assessment was being used by Kitchecks sales representatives alongside their customers. It has come to our attention that filling out the flow would have taken at list half a day worth of work on the clients side, and even longer on the reps side. (OMG)

Our goals for this projects were:

  • Streamline form fill process.

  • Guide clients to finish the task fast and accurate.

  • Help the representative finish their side of the form fast and precise.

  • Produce a final document automatically.

The Process + Solution

Since we were already familiar with Kitcheck and their clients, we were able to just interview reps and customers without doing further research.

It was clear that the previous 10 page PDF workflow was dis-organized, CTA’s were not clear, and even when all was set and done the rep had to produce a document from scratch.

After much thought, consideration, sketching, testing and analyzing we had arrived at the brilliant solution of dividing the existing 10 page PDF document into 2 flows.

  1. Customer facing flow.

  2. Representatives facing flow - which when complete will produce a shareable, printable document.
